We’re in the middle of creating our Life Without Limits Mastermind Council by sheer “design on the fly” movement!
What that means is that while we assess what close to 200 of our community members want out of life (NOTE: these are the ones who took us up on our complimentary consultation offer), we don’t head into our 30 to 45 minute one-on-one calls with somebody with a mindset of, “I sure want to perfect my solutions, guidance and recommendation to this person and then hope they soar like an eagle to prosperity.”
We know better !
Personal growth and solidified positive change takes time… but accomplishment, fueled by the power of a group of ambitious, idea-driven, entrepreneurial-minded people, doesn’t !
Accomplishment, or the psychological effect of experiencing RESULTS, is easy once you’re willing to approach problems and opportunities in a DIFFERENT way than what you’re used to.
Years ago it was enough to plan things out, to relentlessly analyze all possible scenarios, to sit back and ponder the possibilities of just being “better than average” — better than your fellow employee, better than what society expects, better than the next competitive product, better than the guy or gal who is wooing the girl or guy of your dreams, etc., etc.
To observe, to ask, to probe, to learn… yes, that’s certainly all very essential to gaining an edge in life; HOWEVER, it’s just not enough anymore.
You have to be different, you have to become outstanding in order to be noticed. You should look like a purple cow to attract attention, and “snap” the world into SEEING (and truly knowing) your KVP (Killer Value Proposition).
Seth Godin wrote a killer book called Purple Cow. And it is all about that… how to become remarkable.
So, in our quest to continue providing you quality, personally usable information, here’s something of an amalgamation of Seth Godin-LWL-inspired ways to be remarkable:
>> Always understand that you don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going (well, thanks to Mike Litman, too, for popularizing that phrase)… Whatever that “it” is for you (i.e., new business, pursuing a relationship, attracting new clients, or writing the cook book of the century). And once you get it going (moving)… then go ahead and modify, tweak, and enhance along the way.
>> Act upon your inward courage, and natural inclination, to be an iconoclastic thinker — challenge value systems, controlled processes, and anything or anybody that you KNOW (from a gut level) prevents you from expressing your opinions and your own unique ability to reason.
>> Be extreme. Shock others in some way, attract their attention and keep it. Get to the edge. The remarkability is on the edges.
>> Relinquish your need to have the world see that you’re “all together” or that there’s no strife or disharmony in your life. Because, that’s nothing more than a nice-looking, feel-good smoke-screen. Instead, find a confidante, a coach, a personal mentor who will help you be aware of what you are FEELING. Because what you’re feeling (vibrating) NOW is basically thought-energy in motion, or e-motion, which in turn causes what you experience. A coach will nudge you along to be aware of this, be honest about it, and accept responsibility for it.
>> If you’re living from congruency (meaning that if you have conviction about X, you’re also behaving X a majority of the time), providing true value to somebody or some group, and you’re operating from the heart to affect change and growth in yourself and the people around you, who cares what others think? Being remarkable is knowing that your dreams are worth more than other people’s opinions.
When we speak to people on the phone about their challenges, dreams, habits, skillset, knowledge, lifestyle, etc., the common thread amongst all our combined solutions always has something to do with that person doing a few things that are DIFFERENT…
… a change in habit… a shift in beliefs… a commitment to stretching their imagination… a request to spend less time soaking up knowledge and more time meeting new (and different) people.
But really, all that advice is still just a stepping stone for the big GOAL:
To earn more, work less, and enjoy life!
And, in our experience, how much somebody actually DOES that is directly proportional to how much somebody promotes, excites, energizes, involves, and disseminates.

Great motivating post! Many of us get caught up in the perfectionist mindset which blocks us in so many ways. Yeah we have to just get out there and start doing rather than waiting for better conditions or a better time. Even though I’m doing similar things to many many millions of others out there, not one of them will be doing it the same way I am. It’s my differences, it’s everyone’s differences, which makes us all exquisitely unique.
The important bit is to get out and do.

I want to thank you for this posting. The amalgamation of Seth Godin-LWL proved to be extremely affirming. I have been stretching of late to really put it out there. I challenge myself at work to live my purpose, even though that can at times be difficult. Increasingly I find myself doing different things at the morning meetings that make people sit up and take notice. I have started to talk about what matters to me and damn what the correct business “talk” is. I am throwing away the script.
Even in my private one on one’s, I am looking for ways to inspire, coach and lead, that can create the type of atmosphere I envision.
Just reading those things off, I was surprised by how many I am actually doing, and therefore discovered the inspiration to push even further to the edge.

I love the poem by Robert Frost, “The Road Not Taken,” then M. Scott Peck’s book, “The Road Less Traveled.” It’s so easy to to take the well worn road, to do it the “easy” way or the way everyone else does it.
Dan Kennedy had it right. And it’s really about the less taken road. The plurality may be of the average, but they are working for and buying from and reading about, those who took the road less traveled.

Great Information…. I am as I write working on a talk for the general population on home-based-business’s. There is indeed a risk to think like you have never thought before. To think things could be easier, or better. To think that you could have your hearts desires. The risk is people might laugh, you might fail however, you might just win, even if you do fail as long as you allow yourself to fail forward. The Universe rewards action. Go ahead take a risk….take a chance, Nothing changes if nothing changes.

It’s simple…. then STOP wasting your money on all those programs, courses, books, etc… nobody has forced your hand at buying ‘em… if you’re not taking responsibility for applying the knowledge you’ve taken the self-accountable initiative to invest in, then it’s a waste of investment funds.
Not everybody is in your boat, by the way. Many seekers of higher learning understand the concept of resonance before even being taught about it, and hence they gravitate towards the teachers that speak to them specifically on a core level — not all the ones teaching similar stuff that don’t have the same impact on that particular student (and that, by the way, is one of the core reasons we offer the multi-mentor approach).

Thanks for all you said. That little blog response (the first one above) was written by my step-son after a discussion we had about me wasting my money on your program and Bill Harris’ Holosync program.
I told my step son to write you on my form and see what you thought. Like I told him about being many different teachers as there are so many paths all taking you to the same destination.A bout how without action, there can be no movement towards your goals.
He told me I just did not get it and that all I have to do is think good positive thoughts and what I want will appear.
Well I asked him to move out after nearly 6m months if not working or contributing towards the bills. He said I was petty and into the money thing like all you supposed teachers. He said it should all be free and shared to be good and I was greedy. I really know He dose not get it. Thanks for letting him hear it from someone other than me and his mom. I thought giving him access to the classes and the Holosync recordings might help… but I guess not.
Barry, one more thing: my step-son found no benefit, he said, from reading some of your material or the Holosync recordings. But, I told him, if you are not looking in the right place you will never find it. Stay on the same path and you will end up where you are heading.
