If you're interested in manifesting wealth
in your life - in the form of cash, increased
business / sales, or hard assets - this is the
forum thread to post under.
We would like to hear your questions, comments,
ideas, and results from using the below experiment
/ formula that was originally started by
Dr. Joe Vitale a few years ago.
We will keep this thread going for awhile and
look forward to helping you along and hearing
your results with this.
NOTE - some of the posters here will be current
customers of our Desktop Manifestation Portal
- meaning they'll have access to a lot of
additional resources, advice, strategies, and
leading-edge info. on how to go about consciously
creating wealth - however, even if you're not yet
a portal owner, we encourage you to just give
this personal experiment a "try" with what is
listed below alone:
=============================
The "IM" Formula
How to Consciously Create Circumstances
by Dr. Joe Vitale
=============================
When I told a close friend that I planned to run a 30-day
experiment to see if meditation could bring in new
business, she asked me something interesting.
"Do you care that you are running this experiment during
a war, when people are worried about their jobs, their
next payday, and maybe even their lives?"
"Actually, that's why I'm running this experiment," I
replied. This brief conversation intrigued me because
her question assumed that outward events have the
control.
On the contrary, your income doesn't have to be affected
by war, recession, pay cuts or layoffs.
You don't have to be a victim of circumstances.
In my mind, outward events are simply the result of what
we already did inside ourselves.
I'll repeat that:
Outward events are simply the result of what we
already did inside ourselves.
Maybe we created our current economic situation
unconsciously, but we certainly created it. There is no
right or wrong in that perspective. It simply is.
Now the really wonderful thing is that once you realize
you are the creator, you can create the kind of life you
prefer.
And that leads me to the subject of this Special Report.
I'm asking for people to help me in what I am calling
The Experiment. This 30-day event is designed to bring
you more money, almost by magic, but only if you do
three things:
1. Record where you are now in your finances, and then,
when The Experiment is over, record the changes.
2. Meditate every day for 20 minutes using the technique
I'm about to teach you.
3. Act on the insights that you receive and/or the
opportunities that come your way afterwards.
That's it.
Before I tell you the "IM" technique, let's cover a few
basics to set the stage for what is about to happen.
1. You are the creator.
Just as I pointed out to my friend, you are the predominant
creative force in your life. What is happening to you is
being created by you. This is good news. It means you
can change those appearances to match what you
consciously prefer. It also means you can be, do, or
have anything you can imagine, because the person
responsible for any of it is you.
2. Your belief creates your reality.
If you do this IM technique every day but still believe it
won't work for you, then it won't work for you. You have
to believe that change is possible. Belief rules. We are
belief-beings and the results are belief-creations. Change
your beliefs and you change your life.
3. Your feelings are the fuel.
Your feelings are what fuel your beliefs, desires, hope
and dreams. When you worry, you are fueling a belief in
a negative outcome. When you have faith, you are fueling
your belief in a positive outcome. Your feelings are the
motivators that make things happen. A belief without
feeling is a thought. With feeling, it's an intention.
4. Whatever you say after "I Am" defines you.
You create yourself by how you define yourself. Ask
yourself "Who am I?" and pay attention to your answers.
That is what you are creating. Change your answers and
you change your results.
Now let's look at the IM process itself.
"IM" stands for Intentional Meditation. Most meditation is
not request-oriented. That is, the meditation is simply a
quieting of the mind. In and of itself, that is wonderful.
I once had a T-shirt that read "Meditation is not what
you think."
Exactly! If you're thinking, you're not meditating.
Traditional meditation is beyond thinking, or behind it.
But Intentional Meditation is a departure from traditional
meditation. In the IM method, you are focused on a
specific outcome. You ARE thinking, and you are thinking
with feeling. An IM is a request to the universe, through
your conscious intent, to achieve a particular result.
In other words, a traditional meditator would sit and
simply watch their thoughts. That is the meditation of my
T-shirt: "Meditation is not what you think." It is a wonderful
method. I encourage you to do it.
The Beatles made a form of meditation popular in the
sixties called "TM," or Transcendental Meditation. In TM
you are given a mantra, or special phrase, to repeat over
and over again as you sit. This mantra keeps your mind
busy so your being can settle down and relax. TM is
powerful. When people used meditation to lower crime
rates, as reported in 19 separate studies, they were
doing TM.
IM is different.
IM is focused on achieving a result. You go into the
meditation with a mental request and a feeling, which
you amplify in your meditation. In other words, an IM
meditation might be something like this---
"I see myself at the end of our 30-day experiment with
my business goals for the month achieved, I'm feeling
great, smiling, maybe singing or whistling, as I feel the
exhilaration of having magically achieved more money
easily and effortlessly."
The statement is your intention.
Your intention is what you use as a type of mantra in
your mediation.
Are you with me?
I'll walk you though an IM method to help make this
clearer for you:
1. Decide on what you want to achieve.
Make it believable to you. Remember, belief rules. If you
don't believe you can do it, you probably won't. Let it be
a stretch, but be honest with yourself, too. Again, what do
you want to achieve at the end of the 30 days? How
much more business or income?
2. Write it down in one clear statement.
For example, "At the end of the 30-day experiment I want
an extra $15,000 in the bank from unexpected sources."
Or maybe, "At the end of the 30-day Experiment I want
20 new clients." Write it down now.
3. Feel what it will be like to have achieved your intention.
If you already had what you say you want, what would
that feel like now? Get into those feelings. Relish them.
Roll around in them. How would you look? How would you
act? How would you smile? Feel the feelings now.
That's it.
In short, here it is again:
You simply take your intention (what you wrote down that
you want) and you take the feelings of already having
accomplished it (feel the success now) and spend 20
minutes a day soaking it up---pretending it's all
happening now.
Again, that's it.
So, how does this simple method work?
How does it make your intentions come true?
In short, you are putting a request in with the universe.
You are placing your order. Because you are clear about
what you want, and you feel what you want, you have
streamlined the process. The universe will hear you, and
will begin to orchestrate events to help you achieve your
intended desire. All you have to do is pay attention and
act on your hunches. Trust the process.
As I mentioned earlier, 19 separate studies proved that
meditation can lower crime rate. Those studies were all
about a form of transcendental meditation. In short,
the meditators created a peaceful field, which radiated
out and calmed everyone---including many potentially
violent people.
In the IM formula that I just described to you, you are
quieting the mind as in meditation, but you are also
placing a request with the universe. That request will
radiate out and reach the people who can help you
achieve it. From there, magic happens.
I know much of this may seem strange, but I'm calling
it an Experiment so you can find out, with me, just
how powerful this system can be.
Remember what you have to do:
1. Write down where you are in terms of current income
and, after The Experiment, write down your results.
2. Meditate using the IM method 20 minutes every day.
3. Act on the impulses, ideas, and opportunities that
come your way.
Is this easy or what?

Question is, why the emphasis on monetary gain?
|
This experiment isn't just about monetary gain, it just happens to be what I chose because it's the most
challenging to me. You can choose to manifest whatever you wish, a car, a house, food, health, peace, spiritual
enlightenment, etc.
Being Wealthy isn't just about money, it's about living life to it's fullest in each moment, and if at
any moment there is a lack of fulfilling your desire then you in turn figure out away to create more
or do you give up just quit?
We each choose our own path and create our own reality.
Quote:
For example, let's say we dropped Barry (or another of our modern seers) into a village high
in the Kashmir, or in one of the stricken areas of Africa - choose your spot on the earth, in the non-Western
world, where daily survival is the most urgent - and miraculously enabled communication. Leave them
there with the villagers for a month, for a year. To teach what they know of these truths - their fees
and expenses fully paid for this charitable sabbatical, in this hypothetical case.
|
Now would this be a violation of one's freewill? Or would the seerer be in agreement?
In my own experience of putting myself in situations where my daily survival was most urgent and even
threatened by the minute, I did in fact survive and learn and teach by example that there is in fact more to
life than meets the eye.
I learned early in my life that suffering is a way of life and I placed myself in many situations where I could
prove to myself that it could be another way, and I did this over and over until at one point I realized that I was the one
creating these situations because I thought that I must suffer. I thought who am I to be happy when
there is so much unhappiness in the world? Who am I to be wealthy when there is so much poverty? Now
I say who am I not to be Happy, Wealthy and Wise, what good does is serve to anybody for me to be
broke, stupid and unhappy! They were all needed lessons to help me wake up from my conditioning and
living by what I was taught to my great disapproval (because I always knew deep inside that it wasn't my
truth). I could tell a multitude of stories about my earlier years but I am saving that for my book.
It would be completely up to the villagers to broaden their minds and their beliefs to manifest what
they would like.. In fact if a seer did show up wouldn't you think that at some point someone there
actually wanted more, wanted to learn more and actually manifested a seer to come and teach them?
Hence the phrase "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink it"
I would like to thank you for posting it made me realize a few things, remember some forgotten things
and also to point out to everyone that this isn't just about money, it's about whatever you would like it
to be!
My goal for $20,000 in the bank is a short term goal for fun and it is only one of many short term goals.
Remember it's a Quest, we already know the destination, now it's up to us to enjoy the journey!

They could manifest new ways of learning to enhance their lifestyle. Education as well as hope and love are very powerful trio. I currently have a good life but finances are very tough at the moment. I was laid off from a job that paid me 123K per year. I was out of work since December 30th of 2004. I looked for work for 10 months before settling for a job making $14 an hour. Thats a wopping 29K a year. 10 months of no work an having to pay for items I easily afforded in my past employment takes its toll on no income and then low income. So thats why I am manifesting money.

A couple of enlightening (and anticipated - how's that for manifesting? And I even foresaw it in my post) replies. Thank you both.
The very personal focus in each reply seems to me however to skirt my point.
My example was purely hypothetical, and, indeed, rhetorical. I could play with all kinds of what ifs, about the free will of the seer (that, like communication, I'd have assumed to be a given), or the manifesting of a villager. The example was more to illuminate the social and cultural bias of the current manifesting movement in all its many manifestations. That is, a Western and material bias.
Which was my point.
Yes, I absolutely agree that this Experiment - and all methods of manifesting in whatever clothing they appear - can be used for more than monetary or material gain (which I perceive to include cars and houses, the latter I'd imagine more in the style of luxurious mansions than basic, essential shelter - see example, again). That's how I use what I've learned, for other enrichments.
And that emphasis - on physical assets, on the many illusions of this world - is how manifesting is currently being sold. It's all about marketing. Well, that's my perception. Of course, we can hope that those who initially are attracted to these various packages by greed (sorry to be so blatantly obvious about some folks' motivation) come to see and use the life enhancing nature of what they've discovered.
FYI, my present financial situation is my total earnings are approx $55 per week. Yet life, at its essence, is good. And yet the Experiment as written somehow does not appeal - I would still rather use these lessons for other ends. (And a response to this I perceive would take us back in a circle.)
As Jody reminds us, we are all here on our own Journey. This exchange has made me more aware that our perceptions are so very different, as are our paths (like one full of suffering - and self-chosen at that, the way I read it), and as is our learning to find Joy - in this lifetime if this is the lifetime.

Don't Forget your 20 mins every day, Visualize your end results. Experience the end result, your desire has already been fulfilled it is up to you to allow it into your experience.
Remember don't focus on how, focus on what it feels like to already have it.

No worries Jody!!!!
As for Aobhach I salute you for the noble quest you are on. It may be greed that drives my manifesting and it may be just that I want wats best for my kids. I have two young boys and want to be able to give them the education they deserve. And enjoy vacations to exotic countries that I never got to vist.

The Experiment
I do believe you can manifest anything you want and money is not a bad thing, speaking for myself I have done well without it for a long while and it is time for me to have some :-). I don't want to ask for too little, but then again I want to believe that what I am asking for will come, so I intend to have
$10,000 more this month then last and also $12,000 to pay off debt, so
In MY Own Universe I have $25,000 extra dollars in the next 30 days.
I will keep you posted what happens.
Love to all, Dragonfly

IM Partner
Hello,
I really, really, really need to do this Experiment!
My current job (in sales) is not working out, need to look for a new one. But this is just a pattern. Over the past seven years, I've had just as many sales jobs that haven't worked out. I've been struggling with debt and underearning for years. -- I've also done a lot of self-study during that time -- so I'm aware that it's not about the money, it's about the inner feelings of shame and low self-worth that are the root of my financial woes; the inner dialogue "nothing will ever work", "you're not worth it" blah blah blah crap.
So I really, really, really, REALLY need to do The Experiment. I am ready to break free of my negativity, I am ready to step towards doing/being what I am here to do/be.
I feel like I've wasted so much precious time sitting on the fence and I need to be doing my task in the world, it's time, it's past time!
My fear is that I will do The Experiment for one day and then stop, giving in to my negative patterns.
So I'm thinking it would be great to have a Intentional Meditation partner or partners, so I can check in every day, by e-mail, a chat-room somewhere, or perhaps maybe even by phone.
Maybe it could even be some type of Mastermind group, where we get together, supporting and putting positive energy and focus on each others goals. What do you think?
I really need to do this. I am ready to make this change now!
Thank you!
Corey

I believe it with no doubt!
I will manifest enough money to pay off all my debt's that I am behind on and have enough money to study a Master Hypnotherapist and Master NLP certification program that I want to study. I will then be working towards a Ph.D, so I will have $20,000.00 in 30 day's to help make all this a reallity. Im so....excited about having this income at the end of my 30 day's. I can see it,touch it, smell it and know that it already is a done deal!

My Mood:
|
Broke People Verus Rich People - a Comparison
A Comparison of Broke People
versus Rich People:
1. The Broke think everything is too good to be true
1. The rich think that getting a job sounds too bad to be true.
2. Broke people give up when things don't go their way; a few disappointments and they are onto something else, saying things like "it wasn't for me."
2. The rich work harder and become more determined when things go bad, and understand that you have to take the bad with the good to make it.
3. Broke people always have an excuse.
3. Rich people say "it was my fault" and refuse to make excuses.
4. Broke people think that not getting what they want is OK.
4. Rich people are disgusted at the thought of not getting what they want and will do whatever it takes.
5. Broke people always have to talk it over with their broke friends to make sure no one will make fun of them if they make a decision.
5. Rich people think for themselves and could care less what their broke friends think.
6. Broke people are never coachable and teachable.
6. Rich people are always learning, even when the money starts coming in, they never stop learning from those who were there first.
7. Broke people are scared of others.
7. Rich people entrust in others and know that other people are crucial for their success.
8. Broke people are always procrastinating; they would rather talk about it, read about it, think about it, but never seem to do anything.
8. Rich people hate doing anything but getting it done.
9. Broke people are glad when the day is over.
9. Rich people love when the day begins.
10. Broke people think rich people are lucky.
10.Rich people put themselves into a position to be "lucky," and then work hard to make the "luck" show up.
11. Broke people work by the hour.
11.Rich people work by the month
12. Broke people want to know that after 1 hour of work they have something to show for it.
12. Rich people find broke people who think like that and make them their employees.
13. Broke people get excited they just got hired.
13. Rich people think it is funny that someone could be fooled that easily; they are just making the rich person more rich.
14. Broke people are too concerned about what other people are doing.
14.Rich people are only concerned about what they can be doing to get more done.
15. Broke people complain a lot.
15. Rich people are thankful that no one shot at them today, they didn't have to fight in a war, and that they don't have a job.
16. Broke people think that if no one is doing something, it must suck.
16. Rich people think that if no one is doing something, it means more money for them.
17. Broke people think that if everyone (all 200 people at the meeting in a city of 1 million) is doing something, it must be saturated.
17. Rich people think that broke people aren't too bright.
18. Broke people think it is OK for other people to live where they want to live, drive what they want to drive, and do what they want to do. Broke people are OK with the fact that they can't do these things.
18. Rich people get sick just thinking about being average.
19. Broke people think that other people's opinions are worth more than their dreams.
19. Rich people know that their dreams are worth more than other people's opinions.
20. And finally, "To be rich, you must learn from the broke and do not do what they do nor think how they think."
NOW THE CHOICE IS UP TO YOU!

And the results are?
About time for reports of all that manifested wealth, now the 30 day experiment is over?
