♦ ♦ ♦

The other night — last Thursday, actually — I was in the gym working up a sweat and burning off some ideas.

Yeah, strange to say… I know. “Isn’t it calories,” you ask, “you’re supposed to be burning along with the sweat?”

Guess so… but, I don’t hit the hardwood with a basketball with the intention of caring about calories. I don’t count ‘em. My body just knows it needs to sweat, and I do it very well once I’m in the humid gymnasium at our local fitness club.

So, there I was, 20 minutes into my routine of 3-point shooting, running to the basket to get my shot (or missed shot — more of the former, though) , and letting all the mental energy I’d corked up throughout the day escape my noggin.

NOTE: If you, like me, have millions of ideas and business possibilities / To-Dos running through your brain, you really should try shooting hoops by yourself sometime, in a hot, sweaty gym.

And, out of nowhere, comes some wanna-be Mike Tyson, with this iPod earphones in place, shadow-boxing his way to the speedbag. That’s fine, as I too often like punching the crap out of it.

But two minutes later, he leaves the speedbag for the rack of basketballs.

And suddenly, he starts foot-dancing around one like he’s David Beckham or something.

So, while I’m shooting around, I’m wondering how long this guy across the court is gonna move a basketball around with his feet… and then it happened:

“Whaaaaam!”

The ball goes flying into the wall, kicked by the Bozo who thinks he’s in the final seconds of a World Cup match or something.

I go fetch my own rebound, look at him and wonder:

Does this nut not get what the difference is between a soccer ball and a basketball?!

I’m thinking it was a one-time occurrence when again, “Whaaaaam! Smack!”

I’m sorta getting peeved about this time, and then I hear the voice…

It’s my big voice, or what Heather likes to affectionately call “Bigger Barry” — that inner voice we all have, if we are just willing to hear it, regardless of what it says or asks.

It says: “Man, you know that pisses you off. It should. He couldn’t care less what his foot does to deflate or warp the ball, or how to respect it with the proper use. Go say something.”

So, the question is: When you know something isn’t right, or you feel like somebody around you is doing an idiotic thing, “What Would You Do?”

That’s exactly the question ABC’s John Quiñones has been asking lately (but more on that in a second).

Maybe, unlike me, you didn’t play organized basketball. So, maybe a guy super-booting one around the gym wouldn’t get you all worked up.

However, when something of idiocy does hit close to home for you; when you’re in a position to express your inner-voice OUTWARD towards somebody who’s doing or saying something foolish or senseless… do you?

It’s an important question to ask yourself and answer with honesty, as having the ability to gently confront, incite honest reflection, and throw out raw perspective when needed is often the difference between lethargic, unfulfilled wishes… and living authentically, without regret.

Heather and I know plenty of so-called students of higher-learning who make it their focused quest to avoid anything ‘unplesant’, or retreat from any experience that is less than ‘feel-good’ or ‘uplifting.’

Yet, what these folks are missing is that life operates in CONTRASTS.

Life is basically saying: “Hey, yoooooooooooo, come on already… if you choose to see ONLY what you WANT to see, you miss the point of all this.”

It’s this very flawed, and dangerous, belief – that they MUST evolve to a detached, emotionless state about something they want to change or don’t like — that causes them to feel UNEVOLVED if they confront it — i.e., get angry, express dissatisfaction, or rant about something or someone who they oppose or disagree with.

So… while to many, I know, a guy super-booting a basketball against the wall wouldn’t cause them to take a second look… I also know that there’s plenty more people out there (maybe you?) who would want to say something, but never could — due to a lot of reasons.

But, the ol’ adage of “Its not what you say, but how you say it” often helps you move from fearful hesitancy to confident action.

In my case, I simply walked over and said, “Hey, you do know that’s not a soccer ball, right?”

“Yeah, I know.”

“Great, so being that it’s a basketball, and not designed to be kicked, please quit kicking it.”

“What does it matter? The staff here don’t care if I kick it.”

“It matters because it matters to me. Respect the ball for what it is. You down with that?”

“Mummmmble… yeaaaah…” He walks away and starts punching the speedbag again.

Anyway, this little minor expression of my values is what reminded me of this show we started watching about three weeks ago.

Here’s one of the first episodes, found on YouTube:

♦ ♦ ♦

By the way… another thing that we often speak out (or up) about is the whole “Wealth is an inside job” nonsense.

♦ ♦ ♦

It can be a crazy world out there at times — a world driven by crowd-thinking, political correctness, and philosophical nonsense that is bombarding you to “fit in.”

If it’s not conservative religious groups trying to regulate and control morality, it’s human rights activists going overboard to the point of trumping common sense.

Because of time-worn social norms, meddling governmental regulations, protectionist mindsets and victim-driven thinking, it’s NOT easy to fight the peer pressure to fit into a mold that isn’t YOU.

Is the world missing the real you because you’ve been conditioned to play it safe?

That’s not something we need to expand on any more than just asking that question.

Because, here’s something you can do to find out:

LISTEN to the song, from 3 Doors Down, via the video below. Close your eyes (you really don’t need to watch the Shrek clips, as it’s not the images that really matter). Feel the energy of the words. And, when listening to the song, in a quiet place, just ask yourself:

“Is it okay that I fight to ‘be myself’, even if others don’t approve?”

Only you can really know for sure.

♦ ♦ ♦

For another version — the official Let Me Be Myself Music video — watch at YouTube

Let us know what you think about today’s post or, at least, how
you’ve personally conquered being yourself…. by commenting below:

Via our inaugural 2009 opening post, “What Are You Going To Do Differently In 2009?,” we made a pretty assertive and opinionated statement (rightly so — yup, some opinions we adore):

“Self-awareness comes about by understanding and embracing the things you fear most. We have community members who tell us they strive to FEEL a sense of constant happiness and positivity. In their mind, ‘feeling’ okay all the time means ‘BEING’ okay.”

Then we simply asked:

“What’s the bright side of… trying to repress or ignore anything ‘outside of you’ (Forest reality — if you click, the video explains it) that is controversial, negative, or emotionally/mentally shocking? (“ignore it,” conventional spirituality says, “and you’ll grow stronger.” PUKE!)

We hope it’s really obvious by now: we (and the mentors you’re about to be introduced to via the video trailer below) DISAGREE with those who believe they should withdraw from the “world” for years, even a lifetime, to reach a point of spiritual transformation and inner awareness.

We came into this world to experience a full range of emotions… feelings and mental imagery oscillating between bad/dark and good/light, derived from our constant experiences.

As The Shawdow Effect points out, INTENTIONALLY trying to masquerade the parts of you that you either THINK people don’t want to see or hear about, or constantly trying to APPEAR different than what you are, is a recipe for an inauthentic life, based off conditional control.

As you know by now (well, you should… and if you hang around here much, you know our stance on it too), life is NOT just about mindset… about inner-world thought, contemplation, and introspection of metaphysical mysteries.

Yes, that is a part of it, and a VERY important part; however, again, NOT the only part.

“Sometimes,” as our friend Clarence told Barry by phone from chilly Chicago, “people just need to loosen-up their involvement in self-growth and just dive into some DOING and earning.”

Yes, it’s true…

Living a Life WITHOUT LIMITS — and what we keep preaching around here — is about:

Living in a way where you’re having fun while actually getting RESULTS at something — anything, really — but, preferably at something that adds VALUE to somebody… or even better, hundreds and thousands of people.

Because, while we may only truly KNOW (have conviction about) a handful of things around here, one thing we DO KNOW, hands down, is that wealth can’t come, and never will come, BEFORE “value”.

And the “value” is sparked into play when you start sharing, promoting, and being of service to people who need help with things… anything.

In the world of business, and earning a living online, it’s about knowing you can make a difference and earn an above-average full-time income doing it.

And how is that possible?…

= = = = =

We do it through writing, researching, interviewing, compiling information, and passing it on.

Yet, we sure the @#$% don’t (wouldn’t dare think of it) do it by ourselves.

Personal growth and solidified positive change takes time… but accomplishment, fueled by the power of a group of ambitious, idea-driven, entrepreneurial-minded people, doesn’t!

One colleague of ours has made a name for himself teaching internet beginners how to build their own profitable businesses online. Although a few years ago he knew practically nothing, he has proven himself by making millions of dollars a year, and has become known as one of the top list-building experts on the internet.

His membership sites that teach people how to build lists, how to get quality traffic, how to write compelling copy, and how to master email marketing have earned well-deserved kudos from some of the best-known internet experts around.

Chances are you’ve heard of him too… his name is Tellman Knudson.

Of course you can apply his techniques to any niche… so whether you want to leverage your time and efforts by running an internet business about personal development, B-to-B tools, organic vegetable gardening, cat grooming, car racing, lacrosse playing, or anything else you can think of — he can teach you how.

Normally people pay hundreds of dollars to access the information Tellman teaches. But hey, it’s Christmas time… and this is a gift for you, or a stocking stuffer for your business-minded friends and colleagues.

[ TOOL 7A ] — Secret Stocking

For just a few days, you can get a bundle of his best products for less than 1% of the normal price.

That’s not a typo… Tellman’s Secret Stocking sale has a goldmine of solid how-to info for just a few bucks (going up a few cents with every sale, so the sooner you buy, the better the deal).

Seriously… you won’t believe the price until you check it out.

But wait… before you go, we want to make sure you don’t get overwhelmed by so much quality info and just not dive into it as a result. Believe it or not, that’s what a lot of people do when they’re presented with a good opportunity.

So buy the whole bundle, but concentrate only on the areas you really want to know about. Then give the others away this season by sending your friends or family members a “virtual stocking” email with a product attached. Or make them a CD with the chosen products burned onto it, and wrap it up or stick it in their real stocking.

They’ll think you spent a bundle, when you really saved a bundle on this product bundle!

But hurry to get the best deal… and before it disappears altogether (don’t think that’s just a marketing ploy, because it will be gone soon!)

Be a Secret Santa with the “Secret Stocking” deal here... and beat the recession by learning how to run a successful venture online today!

OUR GIFT – AFTER you order, via the link above, forward your receipt to e-support@lwlworldwide.com, along with your mailing address, and we’ll put our own SECRET Holiday GIFT in the mail for you.

Yesterday Barry showed you a video on how to embrace two powerful habits, and gave you some new perspectives on how to look at what is often called “self-improvement”.

He told you that you don’t need to look at yourself as broken or flawed, or be on a self-declared path of enlightenment in order to invest in yourself; you just need to take responsibility for your own choices and actions.

After all, you are worthy of being the best you that you can be — even though right now you already are the best you that you could have been up to this point.

And he shared a quote with you, which comes from author Robert Holden:

No amount of self-improvement can make up for a lack of self-acceptance.

In fact, I’d love to share with you the entire article, which is excerpted from the book Shift Happens! Powerful Ways to Transform Your Life by Robert Holden, Ph.D. (and which follows, interspersed with my own commentary and clips from some of my audio interviews).

To read and listen, click the link below…

= = = = =

Stop Improving Your Life — And Start Living!
by Robert Holden, Ph.D.

Soon after my book Happiness NOW! was published, a journalist interviewed me on the subject of self-improvement. She found what I said surprising and refreshing. Afterwards she asked me to write 100 words on what she called my “unique take” on self-improvement. Here is what I wrote:

After living sixteen years, 5,844 days, on the spiritual path;
After sitting for 5,000 hours in earnest meditation;
After reading 1,000 brilliant books on success, happiness and love;
After listening to 500 self-healing tapes;
After attending 250 self-improvement workshops;
After benefiting from 200 therapy sessions;
After praying on my knees more than 100 times;
After going on twenty-five retreats;
After enduring ten fasts;
After suffering five colonic irrigations;
And after trying to forgive Mom and Dad more than once;
I finally got the key to happiness: RELAX!

Some people are so busy striving for self-improvement that they have no time for self-acceptance. They also have no time for laughter, happiness or even relationships.

Not only do people spend too much time and energy striving for self-improvement, but they also spend too much time and energy striving for “success” on other people’s terms.

What happens when we get overwhelmed or burned out? What happens when things just aren’t fun, joyful, meaningful or valuable to us anymore?

This short audio clip answers those questions, and comes from an interview I did with Katherine Gibson, best-selling author of Unclutter Your Life: Transforming Your Physical, Mental and Emotional Space, and Pause: Putting the Brakes on a Runaway Life:

The entire interview has just been released on CD, and you can grab your copy for more insight on priorities, life balance, getting rid of mental and physical clutter, and moving past procrastination by clicking here.

Now back to Robert’s article:

Many times I have watched people use self-improvement as a covert form of self-attack — heavily laced with self-criticism, self-loathing and a denial of wholeness. Self-improvement often starts with a perception of lack (i.e., “I am not good enough”, “I am not okay yet”, etc.). Unless this perception of lack is changed, you always end up where you started from, in lack! No amount of self-improvement is enough. There is no rest.

I tell people who attend my seminars that my work is not about self-improvement; it’s about self-acceptance. I honestly believe everyone is holy, everyone is blessed, and everyone is an angel. Self-acceptance feeds the inner garden of the soul. It clears away the debris of doubt, criticism, fear, judgment and ego. With self-acceptance you live and grow spontaneously, naturally, abundantly.

Imagine if you were to practice unconditional self-acceptance! How would your life be? What’s your fear? For most people the fear is “all hell will be let loose“, i.e., without self-improvement “I’m not okay”, “I’ll slip”, “I’ll turn bad”. Other common fears are that self-acceptance leads to complacency, arrogance, egotism, narcissism, “losing my drive”, falling behind and not growing any more.

Approaching life from a perspective of lack is always going to hold us back from what we’re capable of — and what the Universe is capable of providing.

One of the interviewees in the bonus section of Masters of the Secret (available for a limited time at a special price on CD-ROM) often says, “Nothing is ever missing.”

And what she means by that is, if you feel you’re missing something in one area of life (for instance, finances), then you’ll discover you have those riches in another area of life (perhaps you have wonderful, thriving relationships). Of course, this example is hypothetical, and could just as easily go the other way… as evidenced by the TV show Millionaire Matchmaker, which features men who have great financial wealth, but are having challenges finding a partner to love.

And yes, getting over our fears in that area which we perceive to be “lacking” will allow us to find abundance in that part of our lives, too.

In this interview clip I did with world-renowned speaker and author John Harricharan, creator of The Power Pause Formula, he talks about realizing that we are infinitely powerful beings, and not being afraid of that power (or afraid of “success”), as many of us are.

The entire interview on CD, which goes over the entire Power Pause Formula and investigates limiting beliefs and Universal laws, can be yours by clicking here…

In this clip he also talks about sharpening our intuition by quieting and opening the mind, and going into silence… and explains exactly how to do that:

Because, once again, it’s not about rushing around, stressing ourselves out, and trying to “do” more in order to “have” more… it’s about “being” first, and that being includes accepting ourselves and the value we already have.

Robert explains why that is so important as we continue with his article:

These fears are, in truth, smokescreens for a much bigger fear, which is, with enough self-acceptance you will experience so much unconditional love it will blow your ego away. Also, with enough self-acceptance you will experience uncontrollably high levels of creativity, orgasmic abundance and boundless bliss. Check it out!

Self-acceptance is your number one goal in life. Why? Because for as long as you believe there is something unacceptable about you, you will push away love, you will sabotage success, you will unconsciously conspire against joy, you will struggle, and you will never really find out who you are or what you are really capable of.

With self-acceptance, you fear you will lose something, but really you lose nothing and gain everything. For instance, with self-acceptance, you lose your fear of lack, and gain wholeness; you lose judgment and guilt, and gain innocence; you lose your ego, and regain great creativity. With self-acceptance, you lose ground, and start to fly!

Self-acceptance transforms your perception of yourself. The more you commit to self-acceptance, the more you will begin to see that there is nothing about the real you that is wrong, bad, not okay or not enough. Self-acceptance inspires all sorts of personal alchemy and self-realization. It is truly the most powerful act of healing, prosperity and love on the planet.

What can self-acceptance look like?

According to Robin Sharma, best-selling author of The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari and The Greatness Guide, it can come in very simple forms and actions.

In this interview clip with me, he shares two of his favorite stories about people who sought (and found) personal greatness the simple way… and those stories are The Steve Jobs Question and Be Into Breezes:

In order to ask ourselves The Steve Jobs Question, we need to accept ourselves — and trust the answer that we’re going to give ourselves.

And in order to appreciate the simple pleasures in life — like a warm summer breeze — we need to accept the beauty of our own existence, and recognize the power in what we are… not what we “should” be.

The entire interview, featuring the most powerful tips to find your greatness, qualities of great leaders, how to run towards your fears, distinguishing pleasures from true happiness and more, is available on CD by clicking here.

Speaking of pleasures, I enjoy getting professional massages, because it allows me to focus on how grateful and appreciative I am the whole time I’m getting worked on. It makes me feel wealthy and on top of the world, for a relatively low price… and that attracts more opportunity to feel wealthy and on top of the world.

It’s about accepting myself — and what I have to be grateful for — and treating myself well, the way I am now.

What does Robert say about that? Let’s finish his article:

Today, be willing to practice unconditional self-acceptance. Affirm “I am okay,” even if you can’t see it yet. Cease striving. Trust in your goodness. Relax into your wholeness. Above all, be kind to yourself. You do not have to do anything good, right or great to justify this kindness. Treat yourself the best you can so as to bring out the best in yourself. Shift happens with self-acceptance! Be kind to yourself.

You don’t have to improve anything to be perfect, because you are perfect the way you are.

The irony is, once you accept that, you begin to improve anyhow — without even really trying.

Resources become more powerful, meditation takes you places you’ve never been, and you develop the Midas touch… where everything turns to gold.

That power is within you now — but you can’t access it unless you accept that, by accepting yourself.

And once you do accept yourself, you become unstoppable… at home, at play, in business, and in all areas of your life.

If you’ve mastered these concepts and are ready to move on… we have a powerful resource coming Tuesday that will allow you to tap into the power you know you have to build, grow and develop your own profitable online business.

And if you’d like to explore these concepts a little more first… any of the CDs listed above are only $10 each, and are delivered straight to your door.

Here’s to loving and accepting yourself, and in turn accepting the greatness you’re about to experience!

This morning I was lying in a hot bubble-bath that my sweetie, Barry, drew for me… and as I soaked and relaxed, I read People Magazine (yes, I like to read stuff that doesn’t take much thought, and that won’t matter if I get it wet when I’m in the bath… and sometimes — just sometimes — I’ll find something inspirational in there).

Today’s inspiration came in the form of a short pictorial called “Hollywood’s Quickest Marriages“.

It followed an article on Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds, who recently split just 14 days after getting married on an island paradise.

I remembered some of these stories, even though most of them were lost in the recesses of my mind… but the page got me thinking.

Here’s what I found out (with some added commentary of my own):

In 1994, Drew Barrymore was married to a bar owner named Jeremy Thomas for a whole 17 days. He blamed her fame for the split (like he didn’t know she was famous before they got married).

In 1998, Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman were married for a whopping 9 days. He claimed he was intoxicated — but whether that was before, during or after the short marriage is unclear.

Britney Spears and Jason Alexander (a young friend, not the Seinfeld actor) were also intoxicated when they decided to get married in Las Vegas in 2004. It apparently started as a “joke” and lasted 55 hours… her next marriage went on a little longer, but wasn’t any more of a model relationship.

Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney knew each other for 4 months before they got married… but the 2005 marriage only lasted 128 days. She claimed “fraud” when filing for annulment, but I’m not sure what she thought was so fraudulent about it. Isn’t it our own responsibility to know someone (heart, mind and soul) before committing through saying “I do”?

Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley stuck it out for 108 days before ending their marriage because, as she said, they were both like 12-year-olds. Again, that seems like something they would have figured out before tying the knot.

Pamela Anderson was engaged to Kid Rock for 4 years, but married to him for only 4 months. Hmmm… is that better or worse than marrying rocker Tommy Lee after knowing him 4 days, and going through a rocky on-again-off-again marriage for about 4 years? (Lots of rocks in this girl’s life!) Anyhow, Pam said after the Kid Rock split that they just didn’t belong together… something you would think she’d discover at some point during those years before the wedding.

Shannen Doherty is almost a long-distance runner after all these marriage sprints… at the time it seemed like it was over in the blink of an eye, but her marriage to Ashley Hamilton in 1993 did at least make it to the 6-month mark.

But according to People, the fastest marriage of all time was Zsa Zsa Gabor’s 8th, to a “playboy” named Felipe De Alba in 1982… she disappeared from his life forever a DAY after marrying him, saying that he BORED her. Wow! Must have been a reeaaaallllyyyyy looooonnnnggg day!

Alright, so why the heck did I get any inspiration from all this?

And what about those of us that live in the “real world”… what can we learn from it?

Click the link below to find out my thoughts…

= = = = =

Celebrities in Hollywood and the world of rock ‘n’ roll (or whatever music you happen to like) always seem to have it all… the money, the fame, the beauty. They do what they love, love what they do, and become prosperous doing it. People all around the world either want to be like them… or to be with them.

And yet, time and again, we discover that the personal relationships of these artists in the spotlight just isn’t up to par.

Some personal growth experts say that this is based on our value system — that we choose what areas in life we excel at based on what we value, and that if someone is doing well in several areas of their lives, they have to suffer somewhere else as result (remember, the universe is always in balance)… so that means if “relationship” isn’t high on their list of priorities, they can’t have thriving, healthy relationships.

So not only have they never learned to “do relationship right”, but it hasn’t even been a priority to figure out how.

(And it’s not just marriages that are short-lived in Hollywood… it seems that actors often switch up boyfriends and girlfriends as often as they change movie roles.)

But those of us living in the “real world” (not the fake, glittery, made up entertainment world that thrives on pasteurized messages and idealized images, even when its cast members are apparently “off set” and just “being themselves”) understand that “doing relationship right” requires some work.

And we understand that it’s worth it to do that work… because not only is love the most powerful manifesting emotion of all — and not only does love truly conquer all — but we value relationship as one of the areas of life that deserve our attention.

Sometimes we’re afraid (of change, of commitment, of intimacy, of sharing our deepest souls and thoughts with another person)… but we can overcome that fear, if we want to.

Sometimes we just don’t know what to do (when the other person moves too fast, or too slow, or “makes us” angry, or doesn’t understand us)… but we can learn what to do, if we want to.

Relationships can be short-lived, shallow or just-for-fun. Sometimes that can be a relationship’s whole purpose in our lives. But we need to listen to our hearts about when to hold ‘em, and when to fold ‘em.

They are not old rags, dried out slices of bread, or pieces of garbage to be casually tossed aside like something not worth thinking about after a few days or weeks.

Marriages are also not a band-aid quick fix or magic pill to repair a relationship that’s already broken; by the time we say “I do” we should know what we’re “I do”ing to. Otherwise, maybe it’s time to say, “I don’t” and truly mean it.

Yes, relationships can often not work out in the long run, but when we commit more deeply to another person (by marrying them, or by moving in with them), we certainly do so after having the chance to get to know them intimately, understanding what makes them tick, and choosing to take that relationship to the next level.

Sometimes we outgrow a relationship — two people who may have shared values at one point discover that they no longer do — but that growth usually happens over time, with our eyes wide open, and we can choose at that point to end it or work on fixing it, depending how strong our values are that are now being compromised.

Not knowing the other person, or suddenly feeling you’re not meant to be together, is not an excuse… if you know how to ask yourself, and how to listen, you’ll know whether you’re meant to be with that person or not before you make any huge relationship blunders.

There’s one person I know who teaches how to “do relationship right” better than anybody else.

Her name is Zen DeBrucke, and not only is she doing a powerful six-part relationship tele-course with us called Relationship Magic Unwrapped, but she’ll be doing a second free pre-call with me on Tuesday, Feb. 19th.

You can sign up at no cost here… or watch my video below to see a few frequently asked questions answered about whether it might be right for you:

And if you’re looking for a heart-warming and inspiring way to share your relationship joys with others, to treasure the moments you have and to see the big-picture view of why you’re together with someone… Barry and I gave some great recommendations in yesterday’s blog post.

The last video resource is my favorite, because not only is it either free or very inexpensive, depending on the level you choose, but it’s so easy that anyone can do it.

A while back, we recommended Mind Movies as the #1 manifestation tool of 2007… and that certainly holds true, especially if you want to create something in just a few hours that you can use every day, and will take your manifestation results to the next level — even if you don’t know what to do, or what to say, or how to best choose images to make it happen.

Mind Movies is based on the concepts of visualization and affirmations, combined with your own favorite images and music to really get you jacked up and headed towards the reality you want to create.

It’s a very effective — and cost-effective — way to use tried-and-true metaphysical techniques to manifest the life of your dreams. And it walks you through everything step-by-step.

But consider this… (shhh… don’t tell Natalie and Ryan of Mind Movies what we’re about to tell you!)

If you ALREADY know what images (or even videos) you want to use in your visualization, and you ALREADY know how to use affirmations, and what affirmations you would like to see daily (that will move you towards the reality you want)… you can DO ALL THAT with the final resource that we talk about here… and it does it automatically for you, and an unbelievable price, and even allows you to create DVDs or upload to YouTube at the click of a button.

Yes, there are stock images and music selections there for you if you don’t have your own images and/or music — but yes, you can also customize as much as you like, and make transitions, audios mixes, and special effects that all happen automatically.

Pretty cool… and so easy it’s ridiculous.

And if you just want to enjoy seeing your vacations, or your pets, or your kids, or your accomplishments, or your fun times, or your romantic moments, in a cool little video/music presentation that you can watch to inspire you about the good times past, present and future — or give easily to your friends and loved ones on DVD — you’ll love it too.

Or if you want to start a fun little business creating relationship montages, or wedding montages, or graduation montages, or vacation montages, for other people… that’s a fun idea that’s also entrepreneurial.

Find out more from our blog post… or go straight to LWLMedia here.

If you were on our first Relationship Magic Unwrapped free pre-call, you heard Barry talking about how he went through relationship ups and downs before becoming “relationship-ready” enough to be able to attract his soul mate, Heather.

And you heard Heather talking about how our relationship is the most crystal-clear soul mirror she’s ever experienced, and how she’s looking forward to module six of the course in order to better interpret what the reflections in that mirror mean.

The truth is, all relationships are mirrors — yours, ours, everybody’s — but some relationships seem to reflect that mirror more clearly than others.

The upcoming Relationship Magic Unwrapped course — taught by our friend, metaphysical mentor and relationship expert Zen DeBrucke, and hosted by Heather — will dive deeply into that phenomenon… as well as how to attract your own soul mate or relate better with the one you have, how to listen to your mind, body and soul to know what relationship you should be in, how to communicate better with others, how to deal with emotions and triggers, and generally how to “do relationship right”.

We have another free pre-call coming up on February 19, or you can listen to the audio from the first call and find out more at RMUCourse.com…

But first, watch this quick NEW video of us being goofy in love and cherishing our own relationship. It’s part two of a two-part video series we call Love Without Limits. The soundtrack is a silly little tune that describes us exactly, and took days to uncover, by a band called Plain White T’s.

Attracting each other and discovering we were soul mates was a long journey, clouded by other relationships and our business partnership long before we were able to clear the mud off the mirror and see the true, soulful reflection underneath. But we did just that…

… and you can do the same thing, with the help of Relationship Magic Unwrapped. For another powerful resource to help you attract your soul mate, and to watch PART 1 of our two-part Love Without Limits video series, just click the link below…

What kind of life have you had? Lots of ups with just a few downs… or lots of downs with just a few ups? Or maybe an even stream of both, in a gently undulating — yet never overwhelming — cycle of moderate highs and lows?

Is it the way you would like it? When you’re presented with an obstacle, do you accept defeat, or do you see it as a tough challenge that needs to be overcome? And do you see those challenges as problematic, as evidence that you’re a victim who needs to be nurtured and helped… or do you see them as reasons to prove to the world that you’re an unstoppable survivor?

We don’t always get what we think we want, but we do get what we’re meant to have.

This concept is shown in the following video clip from Evan Almighty, starring Steve Carell (the follow-up hit to Bruce Almighty starring Jim Carrey). God, played by Morgan Freeman, gives Evan’s wife Joan, played by Lauren Graham, a lesson on how the Universe works (he says “God”, but… same thing):

The most profound part of the clip is found in these lines:

“If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient?

If they pray for courage, does God give them courage, or does he give them opportunities to be courageous?”

Sometimes we want things to be a certain way, but we want it to magically be that way. We want smooth sailing, we want glory with no guts, we want to take the easy road.

But there are no ups without downs, no mountains without valleys, and no fronts without backs. The Universe is in balance, and we have to take the “bad” with the “good”.

But… what is “bad”? And what is “good”? Do these qualities exist in our world, or are these just labels we place on things, judgements that we give to situations?

Is a mountain truly any more or less awe-inspiring, any more or less beautiful, any more or less a wondrous creation than a valley?

And if we want to be on top of a mountain… and we’re presented with the opportunity to climb over rough, dangerous terrain, risking our lives and limbs before we’re finally able to stand victorious at the summit… did we not achieve what we wanted? Were we not granted what we asked for, despite the hardships of getting there?

So then… aren’t the downs in life, the tough times, just as important and rewarding as the ups?

= = = = =

Our friends Jafree Ozwald and Margot Zaher have written an article entitled How to Transcend The Roller Coaster Ride of Life that tells us yes, the downs are in fact a huge part of what our souls want us to experience.

Here’s an excerpt from the article:

“You are an eternal being who has come here to experience the ride of your life! You’ve signed up to attend this roller coaster ride called life so that you could learn some amazing things and grow immensely. Being the infinite soul that you truly are, you cannot die, so there is nothing really here to fear. To resist any experience you are given is just saying “NO” to this divine growth and forgetting you are an infinite being. Saying NO to any experience is simply a mis-understanding of the infinite Self, and you end up defining yourself as small, helpless and finite. This is not the reason WHY you are here. You are here to say YES to each experience that arises no matter what is given.”

This is a tough nut to swallow. What it means is, every time we go through rough times, every time we get hurt, or angry, or sad, it’s valuable to our growth. It’s not time to say, “poor me”, or look for sympathy, or even to try to get the pain to go away. It’s meant to be.

We may wish for easygoing, effortless fun all the time, but it’s not what our souls want for us. It’s not what we came here to experience, and it’s not what will help us grow and tap into our true identity as a powerful and infinite being.

Although, to take this one step further, what seems to be painful to us, what seems to be rough and tough, is in fact easygoing, effortless fun to our souls. So it’s only by judging that we feel we should get off the roller coaster; our souls, meanwhile, are enjoying the ride for all it’s worth. Yes, the downs just as much as the ups; in fact, on a roller coaster, the downs are often MORE fun than the ups.

So what do you think? Do you feel that life’s “downs” should be minimized, or made to go away, so we can experience as much as possible through positive rose-colored glasses? Or are we meant to embrace the full experience of the “downs” as a learning tool, as a means of growth, and accept that the soul wants us to get a full-spectrum color experience in this world?
